Ilana Jacobs is a local singing teacher and Musical Director with a passion for nurturing individual voices and group harmonious sound. A Royal Northern College of Music graduate, where she trained as an opera singer, Ilana brings decades of performance and teaching experience across diverse musical styles.

Additionally Ilana is the Musical Director of Rowcroft Hospice Choir, a position she’s held since September 2023, where she loves working closely with the choir to support their mission and share the joy of singing together. Ilana also founded and directs the Teignmouth Youth Choir, providing young singers with valuable musical training and performance opportunities.

Ilana is thrilled to be taking on her new role with the Brixham Orpheus Male Voice Choir, where she looks forward to working with the talented members to create inspiring performances that resonate with a variety of local audiences.
